Product Overview
Tantalum tubes are high-purity tube-shaped materials with extremely high melting (2996°C) and boiling points (5425°C), and a density of 16.6g/cm³. Tantalum's low thermal expansion coefficient and high toughness make it ideal for high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive environments. Due to its excellent chemical stability, tantalum tubes are widely used in industries requiring high corrosion resistance and high-temperature performance.
Features
- High Melting Point: Suitable for extreme high-temperature environments
- Low Thermal Expansion Coefficient: Ensures dimensional stability during temperature changes
- Excellent Toughness: Stronger than copper, retains shape even at high temperatures
- High Corrosion Resistance: Outstanding resistance to most acid and alkaline solutions, as well as high-temperature gases
- Good Workability: Can be processed into tube shape through stretching and extrusion
Applications
- Chemical Industry: Used in reactors and pipelines for the production of inorganic acids, replacing stainless steel for longer service life
- Electronics Industry: Tantalum tubes are used in capacitors, electronic components, and more
- Aerospace: Used as high-temperature, corrosion-resistant material in aerospace equipment
- Electrical Industry: Employed in high-power electronic devices, replacing expensive materials like platinum
- Military: Tantalum tubes are used in military equipment as high-temperature, corrosion-resistant components, such as in missiles and spacecraft
