Product Overview
Praseodymium lump is a silvery-white metal and a member of the rare-earth metal family. With a melting point of 1204°C and a density of 6.773 g/cm³, praseodymium exhibits good ductility and malleability. At room temperature, it forms a hexagonal crystal structure and demonstrates strong corrosion resistance in air. However, it forms a green, brittle oxide layer when exposed to air. Pure praseodymium must be stored in mineral oil or sealed plastic to prevent oxidation.
