PI profiles are made from polyimide (PI) material, offering exceptional resistance to both high and low temperatures. These profiles are widely used in demanding industries due to their ability to withstand extreme temperature ranges (-269°C to 400°C) and provide excellent self-lubrication, wear resistance, and high strength. When combined with materials like molybdenum disulfide, graphite, carbon fiber, or PTFE, PI profiles significantly enhance mechanical strength and lubrication properties. The comprehensive performance of PI profiles gives them a unique advantage in engineering plastics and they are often called the “problem solvers” in various applications.
