\nNanocellulose crystals are a naturally sourced nanomaterial with a very high surface area and unique physicochemical properties. With a diameter of approximately 10 nanometers and a length of 120 nanometers, they appear as a semi-transparent gel. These crystals possess excellent biocompatibility and biodegradability, making them suitable for use in a wide range of high-performance applications. Nanocellulose crystals also feature a high carboxyl content (0.15 mmol\/g), providing them with strong hydrophilicity and surface activity.<\/p>\n\n
