\nPEI-stabilized gold nanoclusters (PEI-Au NCs) are nanomaterials composed of gold atoms, where the core of the nanocluster consists of several to dozens of gold atoms, and the surface is capped with polyethyleneimine (PEI). As a positively charged hyperbranched polyamine, PEI not only enhances the stability of the gold nanoclusters but also provides them with strong fluorescence properties across a wide pH range, making them suitable for various biomedical applications.<\/p>\n\n
