\nNickel-coated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) are composite materials made of carbon nanotubes and nickel, with nickel uniformly coated on the surface of the nanotubes. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes exhibit extremely high axial tensile strength, elastic modulus, low density, good chemical stability, and excellent high-temperature resistance. While carbon nanotubes themselves are relatively inert, the ultrasound dispersion and surface nickel plating significantly enhance their dispersibility and surface activity. This makes nickel-coated carbon nanotubes highly dispersible in metal matrices, further improving their performance as reinforcement materials for metal matrix composites.<\/p>\n
