Product Description

Bismuth Selenide (Bi₂Se₃) is a black semiconductor material with an orthorhombic crystal structure and excellent thermoelectric properties. It has a density of 6.82g/cm³ and a melting point of 710°C. Bismuth Selenide is commonly used in thermoelectric materials and semiconductor applications. It is insoluble in alkalis but can be decomposed by concentrated acids and aqua regia. It can be produced by the direct reaction between bismuth and selenium, or by the reaction of bismuth oxide with hydrogen selenide. As a thermoelectric material, Bismuth Selenide is widely studied and used in thermoelectric devices.
