Product Overview

Indium Telluride (InTe) is a black or blue-gray crystalline material with a tetragonal crystal structure, belonging to the layered crystal group. It has a density of 6.29g/cm³ and a melting point of 696°C. Indium Telluride is stable in air, insoluble in hydrochloric acid but dissolves in nitric acid. It is volatile when heated in a vacuum, with vapor remaining stable without decomposition. Known for its strong anisotropy and metallic conductivity, InTe exhibits superconductivity at 10K. The material is primarily produced by the direct reaction between indium and tellurium.
