\nSilicon Nitride (Si3N4) is a ceramic material with exceptional thermal stability and thermal shock resistance, widely used in high-temperature, corrosion-resistant industrial environments. It boasts superior mechanical and electrical properties, with a Mohs hardness of 8.5, making it resistant to most corrosive agents except dilute hydrofluoric acid and hot sulfuric acid. Silicon nitride can exist in three crystal phases: \u03b1, \u03b2, and \u03b3. The \u03b1 and \u03b2 phases are common at room temperature, while the \u03b3 phase forms under high temperature and pressure.<\/p>\n
