Polyphenylsulfone (PSU/PSF) is a transparent or semi-transparent polymer that offers high mechanical strength, excellent thermal stability, and wear resistance. It retains its excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures, with a temperature range of -100°C to 150°C. The long-term operating temperature can reach 160°C, with short-term use up to 190°C. PSU also features good radiation stability, anti-precipitation properties, chemical resistance, and hydrolysis resistance, making it ideal for harsh environments. It is especially well-suited for use in steam sterilization chambers.
