Molybdenum Disilicide (MoSi₂) Heating Elements provide ultra-high temperature performance (1800°C+), excellent oxidation resistance, and stable heating for industrial furnaces and semiconductor processing applications.
Product Overview
Molybdenum disilicide (MoSi₂) heating elements are high-performance heating materials known for their excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and good electrical conductivity. They are widely used in high-temperature furnaces, laboratory furnaces, and advanced dental furnaces. Due to their outstanding chemical and physical properties, MoSi₂ heating elements provide excellent stability and long service life in extreme temperature environments. Made from high-purity MoSi₂ materials and processed by heat forming, these elements provide uniform heating performance and are ideal for use in both industrial and scientific research applications.

- ISO9001 Quality Assurance: Manufactured under strict ISO9001 quality control systems to ensure consistent and reliable product quality.
Chemical Properties
- High-Temperature Oxidation Resistance: MoSi₂ forms a dense quartz (SiO₂) protective layer on its surface at high temperatures in an oxidative atmosphere, effectively preventing further oxidation. When the temperature exceeds 1700°C, the SiO₂ layer melts (its melting point is 1710°C), forming protective droplets. Although the protective layer may lose its function at this point, it will regenerate upon continued use.
- Applicable Temperature Range: Not suitable for long-term use in the 400-700°C range due to intense oxidation, which can cause material degradation.
Applications
- High-End Dental Furnaces: Used during high-temperature heating processes to ensure even heating and stable operation.
- Laboratory Furnaces: Widely applied in research experiments to provide precise temperature control and stable heating performance.
- Industrial Furnaces: Suitable for various high-temperature industrial heating equipment, improving production efficiency and energy-saving results.
- High-Temperature Equipment Heating Elements: Provides reliable heat sources for extreme high-temperature processing in specialized industries.
