Product Overview
Magnesium oxide crucibles are high-temperature stable refractory materials made from high-purity magnesium oxide. They have exceptional thermal resistance and can withstand extreme temperatures up to 2200°C. These crucibles are particularly suitable for the synthesis and sintering of lithium solid-state electrolytes, as they do not react with lithium, effectively preventing lithium loss during processing.
Features
- Ultra High Melting Point: With a melting point of up to 2700°C, they are ideal for high-temperature processes.
- Exceptional Physical and Chemical Stability: Resistant to harsh conditions and extreme temperatures.
- Low Porosity: Porosity rate ≤1.0%, ensuring high density and strength.
- Good Compressive and Flexural Strength: Ensures reliability and durability in high-temperature environments.
Applications
Magnesium oxide crucibles are widely used in:
- Superconductor Material Processing
- High-Temperature Synthesis and Sintering: Especially for the synthesis of lithium battery solid-state electrolytes.
- Beta Alumina Processing
- Dielectric, Piezoelectric, and Thermoelectric Materials Processing
- Nickel-Based Superalloy Processing
- Processing of Plutonium and Uranium Materials
- High-Temperature Laboratory Experiments
